EVENTS

ANNUAL STUDENT SYMPOSIUM
The TPCB community of students and faculty attend the annual student symposium, held each year at a venue chosen by the student organizers. The symposium provides trainees with the opportunity to present their work to peers and serves as a vehicle for cross-campus student and faculty interaction. Past venues include conference centers in Ithaca, NY and the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania.

RESEARCH IN PROGRESS SEMINARS

Two Research in Progress seminars are presented by TPCB students, to TPCB students, every month. These seminars keep students informed of other TPCB research projects and provide presenters with useful feedback for their research. The seminars also help to strengthen presentation skills, which are critical to success in science.

SOCIAL EVENTS
TPCB students have ample opportunities to meet in more informal settings. The program sponsors monthly social events, an annual summer BBQ, holiday parties, and graduation celebrations.
